Grind all materials and remove all grinding dust and fibres. Apply a coat of QuickSohl to the material. The thickness per coat should not exceed 3-4 mm, otherwise it will not dry properly. Shape the paste by hand into the desired form. Let dry for at least 24 hours. If a thicker layer is needed, add a second coat on top of the first after the first coat has dried. Repeat until sufficient layer thickness is achieved.
Mould and shape by hand, can be pressed with outsole to create sole profile.
Please note, let dry for at least 24 hours per layer, solvents need to evaporate completely. Do not dry with IR lamp or heat gun.
The dried paste can be sanded, bonded to, and dyed if needed. Can be used to fill holes in soles, do not use to fill hollow soles and heels. The resulting layer is very abrasion-resistant, and can be used to protect shoe and boot uppers against excessive wear. Typical examples includes work boots and Orthopedic shoes for patients who drag their feet.
Can be mixed/thinned with Renia – Syntic-TOTAL.
