C.S. Osborne #141 Awl Haft is a wooden handle with a metal chuck designed to securely hold various awl blades or heavy hand‑sewing needles, commonly used in leatherwork, upholstery, and general sewing for piercing holes and guiding thread by hand.

Lacquer finish, brass chuck designed to hold thick awls or wider needles. Knurling on chuck makes it easy to tighten manually. Narrow neck is correct size for one or two turns of thread.
